[k-9-mail] Cannot send outgoing email from phone

I've got a Verizon Kyocera E6810, running Android 7.1.2. I'm using K-9
Mail v. 5.403; my email server is KolabNow.com. I just got this phone last
month, and have had this problem since day one.

While the account settings for Sending Mail match what KolabNow lists for
the K-9 app, and the verification process works, I am not able to send new
messages or reply to received messages. I get an Android message - "Failed
to send some messages. Error: no valid recipients".

No problem sending the same email messages to the same addresses from my
laptop using LiveMail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The test with Live Mail shows the recipients' addresses are valid. Good but
it also demonstrates a possibility that K9 is setup differently.

A first thought is that K9's SMTP settings for KolabNow.com is really setup
correctly. A common cause is forgetting to set the authentication correctly.

Kolab's site defines (Smtp is same for both IMAP and POP usa)
*SMTP* server is smtp.kolabnow.com*Port/Security is* 587 + STARTTLS*Authentication:
use *Password <your-email-password> with *Username <your-email-id@*
kolabnow.com>

Thanks, Pete.

I do have K9 set to the port and security settings shown. The test
authentication that K9 runs at the end of setup is successful.
