[k-9-mail] Android V9 "sycing disabled" after sleep

Hello

I have a brand new phone running Android V9.

When I first power-on or reboot and for as long as I leave the power cord
connected all is good with K-9 mail.

After I unplug the phone from the power, it will eventually go to sleep.
After I reawake the phone it shows "syncing disabled", and stays that way
until the next reboot.

I presume I need to find some way to tell Amdroid to keep K-9 alive even
when most of the rest of the phone goes to sleep. I am unable to find a
menu to do so on Android V9. On the battery screen I have "battery
saver=off" and "adaptive battery=off".

Any suggestions appreciated! thx

Hi

you will need to disable any power savings (disable "battery optimisation")
for the app.
Settings - Apps & notifications - K-9 Mail - Advanced - Battery - Battery
Optimisation.

Hope that helps.
