After the latest update I've noticed a problem fetching mail. I have the folder poll set to every 15 minutes, but nothing gets downloaded to the inbox until I open the app. When I open it, I usually notice it states the last poll was 'x' hours ago. I used to get a notification every time an email was delivered.
